Gautam Shantilal Adani (born June 24, 1962) is an Indian industrialist and philanthropist. He is the chairman and founder of the Adani Group, Ahmedabad-based international conglomerate which is involved in port development and operations in India. Adani is also the president of the Adani Foundation, led largely by his wife, Priti Adani. As of June 10, 2022, with a total value of US $ 97.6 billion according to Forbes and the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, he is the second richest man in India and Asia and the ninth richest man in the world.
